Pets Behaving Badly Network
At last, a professional organisation of behavioural trainers of dogs, cats, parrots and horses!
For many years, Pets Behaving Badly has trained and mentored new trainers and behaviour specialists of all ages and backgrounds.
We have a network, so that pets / horse owners can access a professional service to help with behaviour or training problems.
Principal Christine Woodall is on the board of The Kennel Club’s Scheme for accrediting trainers and behaviourists, and is an assessor for that scheme. This means that all of our canine behavioural trainers are expected to work towards their KC accreditation, and that members will be mentored towards their accreditation. They will also be required to abide by the KC code of conduct.
The concept is simple: As a pet owner, how can you spot the really effective and properly trained expert from the hundreds of cowboys out there, all wanting you to pay them for their services? Even our newest practitioners have the back up of our knowledge and experience, and must abide by our code of conduct.
All members are assessed, and receive a grade at which we feel they can successfully work.
Pet owners can be assured of a first class service, as members can access our back up service to check the quality of their advice and training.
Our professionals have taken home study courses, as well as attended courses where practical skills are honed to professional levels. When choosing a trainer, you need to choose one who has knowledge and practical skills, and the back up of a whole network of experienced professionals.
