Newsletter December 2007
Seasons greetings to everyone, and make your New Year’s Resolutions right now! If you want to improve your knowledge of canine, equine, feline, or parrot behaviour, now is the time to act! (Maybe a Chrissie present could be involved?) Current course fees hold until January, so you can enrol at these fees now, even if you don’t start studying until 2008.
Your journey will begin with an email to Christine, who will discuss your individual needs. Any education you undertake should be a bridge between where you are now, and where you want to be. Christine is fully qualified to guide you, and is passionate about producing top quality behavioural trainers in all species.
We have many new courses underway, including two canine courses to support the Kennel Club’s Accreditation Scheme (KCAI) all about teaching people, and teaching dogs. These courses are offered at a discounted rate, so do check them out.
This autumn has been great weather for home study, and we have many students graduating from courses and gaining the letter CoPAS after their name. Many have completed levels two and three canine courses, and used our two day courses to gain experience and confidence in handling skills and teaching skills.
We welcome four new network members, who are running their own independent behavioural training businesses under the guidance of our network. Quite a few students have signed up to the Kennels Club’s accreditation scheme, and are benefiting from membership.
At our new training ground in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, we are well into weekly classes, in addition to our two day instruction courses and individual dogs owners training days. As the ponies are here with us, Reiki days will continue with plenty of practice on the boys.
Snap, Crackle, Pops and Ricicle are also happy to let you practise clicker training with them, and love the odd game of footie!
If you are a pet owner, keen to learn more with your pet, or maybe cure some behaviour or training problems, do get in touch for experienced, specialist advice. Email in for Autumn / winter courses, and do keep an eye on the Diary.
