Home Study Courses

The Courses are totally flexible.
This means that your learning path is agreed with you, according to:

It is important to agree a plan with your personal tutor, and stay with it.

Learning and study is often perceived as an obstacle by those who have either been out of education for many years, or have never received a good formal education. I firmly believe that it is the teacher's job to teach you effectively, explain how to present your work, and how to study. Please don't be afraid of study, you will amaze yourself with the work you can produce with the right teaching and genuine enthusiasm for your subject. Acknowledged achievement in the world of education is one of the greatest ego boosters in the world, and you can do it. How you will achieve this is my problem, not yours!

The Optional Workshops offered are either one to one sessions or group sessions, where you are taught, take on practical work, and have plenty of time to discuss ideas and problems. It is perfectly possible to take the courses without workshops, but you would gain so much from them, that it really is worth making the effort.
All of the courses are student friendly - the standards are high, and you are shown how to achieve your very highest potential. Learning should be both satisfying and good fun, and I hope that during the course you will achieve a sense of personal satisfaction and an insight to your true potential.

If you wish to discuss the courses, either to receive career advice or if you have special needs regarding accessibility or learning difficulties, please either E mail, or phone at any reasonable time.

Should you leave a message on my answermachine, I will get back to you the same day. I prefer to take work calls between 9am and 7pm. However, should I not return your call within this time, please phone again.
