She has trained dogs for obedience, working trials and support dog work. She has bred German Shepherds for working and companionship, and miniature dachshunds for showing
She has produced two International Champions, and many 'best friends' of sound character and outstanding personality. She has bred pedigree cats, and shares her office desk and chair with a retired Abyssinian Champion, JJ.
She has trained and re-homed many parrots of all species, and dealt with feline behaviour problems for fifteen years.
For over forty years she has attended seminars, conferences and workshops to increase her knowledge and experience. She works hands on with owners to shape behaviour of family pets and horses.
Christine studied psychology with Birmingham University, and is a qualified lecturer, assessor and course designer.
There are no recognised 'qualifications' in animal psychology, but there is professional recognition, and Christine is very keen to ensure that all practitioners in this field have proper practical and academic recognition.
Christine's work now involves running this College, including workshops and lecturing at local colleges of further education, and promoting the use of Natural Training Techniques to owners and trainers alike. Christine is a Reiki healer, combining this technique with other therapies to achieve success with traumatised animals.
She devises and uses Natural Healing Techniques to gain outstanding results without force or harshness. She teaches these methods to students and owners alike.
